Korin has been working diligently industry wide writing a diverse variety of songs for major, and aspiring artists. She’s also working with many “A” list, and hot up and coming producers.

All the while showing an incomparable work ethic preparing for her up coming independent project. “I describe my music as soulful R&B/Pop,with a Hip Hop edge.” I’ve been preparing for this moment my entire life,” she says. “Right now I’m just anxious to get the project out so people can hear what we’ve been working on for so long. I’m excited to build a successful career, and be around for a long time.

After graduating college with a Bachelors Degree in Biology Korin Deanna decided to relocate to Atlanta, Ga., and pursue her dreams as an artist/songwriter. Shortly after moving to Atlanta, Korin performed in a private showcase for industry legend Hiriam Hicks and the Artist Factory. After seeing her perform, Hicks offered Korin a flagship position on the Artist Factory roster. Along with her new prime position, Korin immediately began artist development training. “We knew from the time we saw her performance she was a star,” he acknowledges. Korin started out in a group with her two sisters called 3 Tymes J. The group dynamic was often compared to TLC with Korin singing lead, her older sister singing/rapping and younger sister singing/acting as the hype girl. Managed and coached by their parents the group was put through an industry boot camp; with vocal training, choreography and performance training. “We did the singing while running on the track, rehearsing for hours everyday, all of that, ”Korin Deanna recalls fondly. “It was a lot of hard work but we knew that’s what it took from seeing my father. We loved every minute of it especially when it started to pay off.”

Before long the group quickly became local celebrities opening for A-list acts like Boyz II Men, The Dazz Band and Gerald Levert. 3 Tymes J performed professionally
for six years, with them fitting rehearsals and performances in between school and summer breaks. Korin Deanna is one of those rare finds that today’s music industry desperately seeks to manufacture. Not only does Korin Deanna possess the vocal range of a true diva, but unlike impostors, her natural talent has been nurtured and cultivated for such a time as this. With musical mentors like Anita Baker and Whitney Houston, Korin is used to surprising listeners with her strong soulful vocals. If success is truly a combination of talent plus preparation, plus opportunity, then Korin Deanna is destined for the stars. Born twenty- two years ago in Cleveland, Ohio the petite vocal powerhouse as been a starlet-in-training for as far back as she can remember. Her parents were both entertainers so it came as no surprise that Korin Deanna found herself on stage before she enrolled in grammar school.
