Busta Rhymes is about to enter the next exciting chapter of his illustrious hip hop career with the news that he has signed a new record deal with Cash Money Records.
The label will soon be releasing his ninth album, E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event) 2: End Of The World.
Last.fm Trends looks at the career of Busta Rhymes so far.
Busta Rhymes had various chart hits in the late 90′s and the earlier stages of the 00′s, such as “Gimme Some More” (373,941 total scrobbles) from 1998′s E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event): The Final Frontier and the Dr. Dre produced track “Break Ya Neck” (504,910 total scrobbles) from 2001′s Genesis.
However it is the 2006 album The Big Bang that has proved to be his most scrobbled (it was also his first #1 album in the charts). “Touch It”, the lead single from the album, has been scrobbled 322,113 times.
The listener counts for Busta Rhymes over the last twelve months show a slight dip to around 11,000-12,000 weekly listeners – however as Busta Rhymes enters his next chapter we should see a sharp reversal to take him way beyond the peaks of 16,000 listeners seen earlier in the year.
