While their camps are embroiled in a very public war-of-words with each other, Lil Wayne and Kanye West are making strides in the apparel and footwear industry.

Lil Wayne, who has already struck endorsement deals with Mountain Dew and sneaker company Supra, has signed a distribution deal with Macy’s department store for Wayne’s Trukfit (“The Reason You Kill For It”) clothing brand.

“Trukfit is a state of mind,” Trukfit brand director Mike Morris said in a statement. “It is about being oneself, having fun, being free and being able to express all these elements. We are thrilled to be able to offer Trukfit at Macy’s, an iconic retailer with as much as energy and heart as our brand.”

Meanwhile, Kanye West is set to drop the second installment of his Nike Air Yeezy sneakers. The Air Yeezy 2, which follows a 2009 sold-out release, will be in stores nationwide on June 9th.

While Kanye has remained neutral in the ongoing battle between Wayne and Pusha T, who is signed to West’s G.O.O.D. Music, Lil Wayne has been fully engaged in the battle as well as his entrepreneurial exploits. The Young Money general’s clothing line of T-shirts, hats and sweatshirts will be made available at the department store across the country on June 1.
