When music greats schedule a performance in the QC the only appropriate question is: When & Where?
The Fresh Music Festival takes over the Time Warner Cable Arena on July 1. It’s the return of the best of the 80s and 90s. This old-school extravaganza features Doug E. Fresh, Keith Sweat, GUY, SWV, and K-Ci & JoJo.
With an extensive catalog of number one hits and chart toppers, this concert is one not to be missed.
A grandmaster of hip hop culture, Doug E. Fresh, hosts the 2012 Fresh Music Festival. The creator of beat boxing, he continues to tour the world bringing that old school urban funk to the masses. Recently featured in Ice-T’s documentary Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap, Fresh hasn’t skipped a beat. He continues to be one of the strongest advocates for hip hop culture and remarkably looks the same as he did in the 1980s.
