Mayor Anthony Foxx called in to talk about the Democratic National Convention coming to Charlotte, North Carolina. They will have an opportunity for people to get a seat at the convention if you volunteer. The volunteer program is call 9-3-1. If a person does Nine hours of volunteer work of President Obama’s campaign for Three shifts they will be guaranteed One seat to see him. The volunteer job consists of going door to door, answering phones, and just helping out the campaign. If anyone wants to sign up you can go to the website which is nc.bo/9-3-1.
