Nas’s latest offering to the music world called “Life Is Good” is a solid piece of work in my mind, & as witnessed by many. Actually, witnessed by almost 140,000 fans in it’s 1st week’s release. It’s projected to be Nas’s 6th #1 album in his career, in a week where nothing else even comes close. It will be Nas’s 1st #1 album in the Billboard top 200 since his “Untitled” release in 2008. His 6 #1′s puts him amongst other rap legends for the same run as Jay-Z, & Eminem. Nas attributes the success of “Life Is Good” to his former wife Kelis, whom he says pushed him back to his “Illmatic” days to create. I guess it’s safe to say adversity, & confrontation makes for better artistry. Congrats to Nasir Jones!!
