Power 98′s Summerfest concert is pleased to have had Miguel performing on its hit roster this year! “Overall, I want to give a dynamic performance…I just want people to feel something. It’s my favorite thing in the world is to be on stage,” says Miguel.
Kaleidoscope Dream, Miguel’s sophomore album, will be releasing on October 2nd, but he is releasing the album a different way than usual. He is releasing it in small releases, or previews, before the full album comes out on Oct. 2nd. The “Water” portion is already out on iTunes while “Air” part is being released on Tuesday, Sept. 11th. If you buy the first two parts of the album, then you only have to pay the difference when you get the complete album on October 2nd.
Miguel is pumped to have RCA as a label that completely and enthusiastically backs his latest project. His last album, Miguel says, wasn’t backed as much with a great publicity and marketing team.
Miguel’s latest song “Adorn” is a “great song that wrote itself,” he says. “It’s the first song I’ve ever wrote and produce,” Miguel says, which might lead to him producing more of his own songs. “Adorn” along with his other songs will get to know the real Miguel.
Remember to get the complete album Kaleidoscope Dream on Tuesday, October 2nd, but get snippets of the album on iTunes at the above release dates.
