Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. has been immortalized with moving footage of the March on Washington, The Montgomery Bus Boycott, and his “I Have a Dream” speech.

Hollywood continues to pay tribute to the late civil rights leader on the big screen. Actors like James Earl Jones, LeVar Burton, and Jeffrey Wright have resurrected Dr. King in poignant biopics and dramatic narratives.

One of our favorite dramatic interpretations of Dr. King occurred on the popular television show A Different World. Terrell (Patrick Malone) and Dorian (Bumper Robinson) take on the roles of Martin Luther King, Jr. and Malcolm X for a history assignment where the pair reenacts the only meeting between the two great men.
