Danny Diaz Halloween Recap Photos
Last night I took off [work] to be a part of my daughter Danielle’s 1st Halloween experience. Yes it took me over a year and a half to decide weather or not I wanted to share her with the world-so this will be her official debut (And I STILL don’t know how I feel about it). She was in costume as the prettiest little flower, as I took on the look of Chong (from Cheech & Chong). Her mother Christy had her in costume early in the day as we brought her along for lunch and some errands we had to run. Danielle got the hang of it early being that everywhere we went, they were handing out candy. As we stopped for a late lunch at Showmars, she enjoyed all of the attention she got in her costume. At first I wasn’t gonna do the costume thing, but ended up walking into Party City as they were saying “We will be closing in 10 minutes,” over the intercom. I ended up grabbing the kit for the low low & pulled off the look almost exactly like the pic on the costume kit. Anyway, as we hit the streets going door to door, one thing was for certain-Danielle wasn’t letting ANYONE take her jack o’ lantern full of treats. Even as it started getting heavy she kept a tight grip on her “earnings.” It seemed like no matter how hard people tried to put candy in her container, she insisted on grabbing hand fulls from their dishes herself. She wasn’t able to say the ‘trick-or-treat,’ but managed to tell everyone “BYE” when we left their doorstep. As we wrapped up and made it back home she was definitely anxious to see what she had in there & pretty much ate herself to sleep. She had to be tired-that was probably the furthest she had ever walked in one long period of time. After that, I proceeded to hit up the adult Halloween events like 935′s Power 98 costume party & V101.9′s 80′s costume party at Tempo. Anyway, check out some of the images I managed to capture though out the day.
