The Dirty Dirty: Migos Shot At And A Love & Hip Hop Star Was Shot
The Migos were involved in a mafia style drive by shootout in Miami Thursday night. Migos’ van was shot up while the group was leaving a recent performance. Another vehicle pulled up alongside the van and opened fire riddling the group’s van with bullet holes. There were reports one of the group’s bodyguards was shot in the leg. Migos’ manager revealed that none of the group members were injured. The manager added that Migos returned fire at the other vehicle. The group’s driver sped off to the nearest hospital — thinking someone in the van might have been shot — though somehow all three members escaped unharmed. Police confiscated the van from the hospital, and it’s being processed as part of the investigation.
Benzino Was Allegedly Shot By His Nephew
Benzino’s nephew was busted Saturday for shooting Zino as they drove to his late mother’s Massachusetts sendoff. Benzino was shot by his nephew Gai Scott. The D.A. says Benzino and Gai were in different cars but when the two were side-by-side at some point, his nephew allegedly fired shots. Gai was charged with assault with intent to murder. Benzino is recovering! Z was blasted in the right arm while driving through Duxbury on the way to St. Peter’s Church in Plymouth. Gai opened fire from behind the wheel of his Bentley around 11:55 a.m., and was quickly taken into custody without incident on charges of armed assault with attempt to murder. The bleeding Benzino, aka Raymond Scott, climbed out of his red Dodge SUV after the shooting and flagged down a passerby. He was first taken to the Duxbury police department and then to South Shore Hospital in stable condition, authorities said.Cops said it was unclear what kind of beef ignited the gunfire as the cars drove behind the hearse carrying Mary Scott to the funeral Mass. The hearse was smudged with blood, covered in plastic and ringed by police tape outside the church. The funeral Mass, though delayed by the shooting and the questioning of mourners by police, went off as planned, Father William Williams said. State police said Gai is due for a Monday arraignment in Plymouth District Court.
Chris Brown May Be Headed To DC
The Washington DC judge presiding over Chris Brown’s assault case has signed an order to have him released from L.A. County Jail, handed over to U.S. Marshals and brought there to stand trial next month. According to TMZ, the order was filed on Wednesday but is not yet a done deal until the judge in the Rihanna case agrees to it. Breezy’s assault trial is due to begin April 17th.
