Nicki Minaj Faces VMAs Censorship Challenge from the Parents Television Council

Looks like Nicki Minaj’s road to total world domination and widespread adoption of the Beats By Dre Pill has hit a road butt — we mean, bump. Road bump.
Not everyone was charmed by the rapper’s bootylicious video for “Anaconda.” Minaj has managed to anger the worlds oldest enemy of butts and the shaking thereof, the Parents Television Council, Adweek reports.
The PTC, whose members have reportedly replaced their butts with smooth child-appropriate glass panels, preemptively challenged Minaj’s performance at the MTV VMAs, which will be held this Sunday, Aug. 24.
In a statement, the group claims that, “Given the explicit video… if her performance at the VMAs is anything like the new video, then the show must be rated TV-MA.”
