Wiz Khalifa Talks Own Run-Ins With The Cops, Asks for Peace in Ferguson

Wiz Khalifa wants us all to know, that what’s happening in Ferguson, MO is happening all over.

In an interview with Vibe, Khalifa talked about being pulled over in his hometown of Pittsburgh as a teen and being asked for his license and registration. “They pull you over with a gun to your head, and tell you to get out of the car,” he said.

Khalifa stated that the police have instilled a fear in him where he knows if he doesn’t listen he could be beaten or shot or taken to jail for something he didn’t do. He said, many people of different races act “like they get harassed, but we really do get tortured out here.”

Khalifa did make it clear that not all cops are bad. “There are a lot of police that work my shows,” he said. “There’s a lot of police that keep me safe.”
